Northkirk Presbyterian Church

Northkirk Presbyterian Church was chartered in 1979 and is part of the 3 million member Presbyterian Church USA. The congregation is located on the southeast corner of 19th and Beryl in Alta Loma (address). What makes Northkirk Special: We offer a blended worship service, which combines the traditional plus contemporary elements. Worship is a blend between the formal and the informal style and the inclusion of young and old. We have a rich heritage. We are part of a denomination that traces its history back to the reformation and John Calvin in the 1500's. As a congregation we have a fourteen year history here in Rancho Cucamonga. Dedicated leadership - We have a dedicated staff of four employees, plus a whole host of volunteers that serve as leaders within the congregation. The congregation is characterized by a positive attitude. We have believed that God had a special plan and purpose for our congregation. We have seen some of that unfold, but we believe that God has some more in store for us. We are caring people. Northkirk has been characterized as a congregation that is very warm and friendly. We welcome new people, but also care for those who are long term members of the congregation. Schedule and major activities: We meet each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. for worship and children's Sunday School. We offer special services on Easter Sunday morning. Once a month we offer a Special Service where people can come and receive a prayer for spiritual, physical, emotional or other types of needs. We have an active womens' and mens' group, Jr. High and Sr. High groups that meet weekly and also for special events, retreats and camps. The purpose of Northkirk to Live Out God's Love; As We Gather Together, for Worship, for Instruction, for Fellowship, for Training and for Mutual Care and Support. Our Purpose is also to Live Out God's Love as we reach out into the community with the Good News of Jesus Christ expressed in Word and in Action.
